Hello Gijsbert Van Duijn, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased that you enjoyed our spacious pitches, aquatic area, sanitary facilities, and the peace and quiet of the campsite, including at night. We were, however, very surprised by your 1/10 rating for our reception and by the statement that our campsite “does not care about its guests”. This feels particularly harsh considering the attention our team devotes every day to welcoming and assisting our guests. Our reception does indeed close for a short break around lunchtime. These opening hours are clearly communicated, and this time also allows our team to deal with the administrative work required to ensure the smooth running of the campsite. In practice, whenever our organisation allows, we regularly reopen earlier than the stated time. Regarding departure formalities, our procedure is designed to ensure the smooth management of traffic and departures within the campsite. We are sorry that you found it inconvenient and, above all, that it had such a strong impact on your overall impression of our welcome. We nevertheless appreciate your many positive comments, particularly your description of UR-ONEA as a “great campsite, peaceful and pleasant”. These words are much more in keeping with the 8/10 ratings you gave to most of our facilities and services, and we are pleased that, despite your disagreement with some of our procedures, you enjoyed the overall quality of your stay. We are pleased that, above all, you described UR-ONEA as a “beautiful campsite with good facilities” and that you appreciated the size of our pitches. We have taken note of your comment regarding the toilet paper. We understand that its current location at the entrance to the sanitary facilities can be surprising, and this is something we will be changing shortly to improve our guests’ comfort. Your comment therefore reflects an improvement we had already identified. Regarding the swimming pool, wearing appropriate swimwear is indeed compulsory in our aquatic area, and this rule is clearly communicated. It forms part of our hygiene standards and our commitment to maintaining excellent water quality, and therefore applies to all our guests. We understand that this practice, which is common in many French aquatic facilities, may differ from what Dutch guests are accustomed to. Thank you again for your stay and for your feedback.
